DiggerWorks is about supporting grassroots indie artists supporting grassroots people-first movements and organizations supporting indie artists supporting people-first movements...and so on, in a virtuous spiral (hopefully upward!).

The name is inspired by a group of folks active during the Haight-Ashbury outbreak of 66-67, "The Diggers". See "The Digger Papers" (1968), diggers.org. These folks in turn derived their name from some folks who, during the revolutionary turmoil in England in the 17th century, began cultivating common land for the benefit of all.

In short, we look into the past to bring the future more assured!

DIRECTIONS TO VICTOR'S: Victor's is a warm & homey locally owned coffeehouse committed to supporting community & the arts. They serve sandwiches, soups & pastries along with coffee and teas. Travel on Redmond Way, the main east/west drag of Redmond, turn north on 164th NE, which is one block east of Leary Way. Victor's will be on your left, west across 164th from Banner Bank. You can recognize the intersection of 164th by Key Bank on the southeast corner, Washington State Bank on the northeast corner, and Underhill Furniture on the southwest corner. The northwest corner is a parking lot for a tiny strip of shops, the north end of which is Victor's. The shop of this strip which fronts Redmond Way is Ashleigh's Attic. Adjacent to the north of Victor's is a dirt parking lot where you can park. You can also park in the paved lot in front of the other shops, as they'll be closed.

If traveling by bus, the 540, coming from Kirkland stops on 164th a block and a half north of Victor's. Take the stop right after the stop for the Redmond Public Library.
